Rose McGowan Spotted Barefoot In Mexico As Convicted Sex Predator Harvey Weinstein Rots In L.A. Jail Ahead Of Possible 140-Year Sentencing
Rose McGowan is definitely winning at life while convicted sexual offender Harvey Weinstein rots behind bars awaiting his possible 140-year sentence.
The 47-year-old actress was one of the earlier Weinstein accusers. She has since moved to Mexico after obtaining her permanent residency.
McGowan looked right at home while running around Tulum completely barefoot on Tuesday.
Wearing a tattered yellow dress and sporting a short platinum blonde pixie cut, McGowan appeared at peace with her new life now that she's almost 3,000 miles away from the convicted sexual predator.
Holding her beloved pup in one hand and multitasking with a water bottle in the other, the Scream actress appeared rested and relaxed in paradise.
She appeared to not have a care in the world, walking around the dirt without shoes and being one with nature.
McGowan opened up about her decision to leave the U.S. earlier this year, stating she would "never" return. The star said she moved to Mexico in 2020 during the pandemic.
“I just got my permanent residency card from Mexico, and I’m so grateful to have it,” McGowan said in February. “This is a really healing land here and it is truly magical.”

Justifying her decision, McGowan continued, "I knew it was going to get really bad in America and I had a moment to figure out where I wanted to be. My lease was up in New York so I came here to Mexico where I’m living for a third of the price.”
While McGowan already seems comfortable with her new life, Weinstein is fighting his.
He is currently in a Los Angeles jail after pleading not guilty to 11 counts of sexual assault, including rape.
The disgraced 69-year-old entertainment mogul was extradited to sunny SoCal last month and had already been serving time on the East Coast after being sentenced to 23 years.
Weinstein was convicted of sexually assaulting a production assistant in 2006 and third-degree rape of an up-and-coming actress in 2013.
As for his L.A. case, Weinstein has been accused of attacking five women from 2004 to 2013.
If convicted, he could face 140 years in prison.
Weinstein has always maintained his innocence.
