A friend close to both Prince Andrew and Ghislaine Maxwell claims that the pair may have once dated in the past, and also claims that the currently embattled prince would reportedly “shout and scream” if his collection of teddy bears was ever touched by his workers or servants.
According to Daily Mail, a man named Euan Rellie claims that he attended the University of Oxford with the 60-year-old convicted sex offender before becoming a New York-based, British investment banker.
Rellie also claims that he was a frequent attendee to Maxwell and the late billionaire and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein’s dinner parties in Manhattan, where he would also reportedly see Prince Andrew.
Besides alleging that Andrew and Maxwell may have dated in the past, the close friend of the pair also alleges that the pair had an “easy warmth” between each other.
“She described Andrew as being her friend, not Jeffrey’s,” Rellie recently spilled. “I got the sense that Prince Andrew and Ghislaine had probably been girlfriend and boyfriend in the past. They had an easy warmth around each other.”
But this isn’t the first time there have been rumors about a past romantic relationship between the Duke of York and Ghislaine Maxwell, because a former guard of the Palace named Paul Page once claimed that he and his fellow workers used to speculate that the pair were “intimate” because of how often she would visit the prince.
Beyond the claims that the Duke of York and Maxwell may have once dated, a former royalty protection officer recently claimed that the prince has a collection of teddy bears – and he would reportedly “shout and scream” if his collection of teddy bears was ever disorganized by palace servants.
“It had about 50 or 60 stuffed toys positioned on the bed and basically there was a card the inspector showed us in a drawer and it was a picture of these bears all in situ,” the source recently revealed.
“The reason for the laminated picture was if those bears weren't put back in the right order by the maids, he would shout and scream.”
News of the prince’s teddy bear collection, and also the revelation that he may have once dated Maxwell, come only a week after a sexual assault lawsuit against the royal by his accuser Virginia Roberts Giuffre has been scheduled to go to trial.
