Police Find Chinese Model's Dismembered Head — But Torso And Hands Are Still Missing
The decapitated head of model Abby Choi has been located in the wake of her ex-husband's arrest for her murder.
Alex Kwong, along with his father, mother and brother, were all arrested Saturday night after the dismembered limbs of the late Instagram model were found stored in a refrigerator in Hong Kong.
Police found tissue of the victim's body in pots used for soup in the family's kitchen where they believe Choi's limbs were cooked before being stored. Although her head was found by authorities, her torso and hands are still unaccounted for at this time.
The victim's ex-husband was caught trying to leave Hong Kong on a speed boat with $63,698 cash and several luxury watches valued at around $500k on him.
Only Kwong and his father were charged with murder, while his mother was charged with perverting the course of justice. No charges have been announced regarding the suspect's brother, but he is still being held behind bars as the investigation continues.
A fifth person involved in the murder was also arrested, but the identity and relation to the victim has yet to be made public.
Police Superintendent Alan Chung said, "We believe the victim and her ex-husband's family had many financial disputes involving huge sums. Someone was dissatisfied with how the victim handled her assets, which became a motive to kill."
Chung also explained the tools authorities believe were used to dismember the model's body, noting they included "a meat slicer" and "an electric saw," which were taken from the scene of the crime.

Choi was originally reported missing on Wednesday. The last person to see the model alive is believed to be her ex’s brother, who had been serving as her chauffeur.
The Chinese influencer had a promising modeling career, appearing on the covers of L'Officiel Monaco and Vogue China. She also grew quite a large fandom on Instagram with over 100,000 followers.
In one of the model’s last interviews before going missing, she said she was someone who wanted to "keep absorbing inspiration and always tried new styles. Sometimes I also try to dress up more extravagantly, by missing and combining different looks."
