Pete Davidson And 'Bridgerton' Star Phoebe Dynevor Reportedly Break Up, Relationship Became 'Completely Unworkable'
Pete Davidson and his latest lady love, Phoebe Dynevor, have reportedly called it quits.
The 27-year-old Saturday Night Live comedian and 26-year-old Bridgerton breakout star have broken up after five months of dating, according to The Sun.
A source close to the situation told the outlet that the cause of the split was the distance between them; Davidson lives primarily in New York, while Dynevor resides across the pond in England.
Because of their busy work schedules, the insider said it's been incredibly difficult for them to see one another. Plus, there are still travel restrictions in place due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
"Pete and Phoebe's romance was a real whirlwind and from the start they were both totally committed. But as time has passed, it's become increasingly obvious it is going to be difficult to make this work," the source said.
"Phoebe has had back-to-back filming dates with Bridgerton in the UK. Meanwhile, Pete has been back in the US filming Saturday Night Live," they added. "Alongside that he has just started working on a new film, Meet Cute, with Kaley Cuoco."

The insider went on to say that the last time the two were together was at Wimbleton in July, where photographers caught them touting PDA while taking in the tennis tournament.
"Phoebe and Pete were last together in the UK in July but since he flew back to the States, he's not seen her. Obviously all the travel restrictions because of the pandemic have not helped," said the insider. "People can't just jump on planes and jet around the world when they want to. It has made everything more difficult."
Additionally, they noted, "It was pretty telling when Phoebe headed to Croatia with her mates this week rather than going to see Pete in America."
"It was wild while it lasted and they both really care for each other. But the distance has put a strain on them," the source added. "Their mates think they make a great couple but the distance has made it completely unworkable. They had fun and will remain close but unless something drastic changes their relationship won't recover."
Davidson and Dynevor were first seen "holding hands and hugging" in England back in March.
"It looked like they were in a relationship and they seemed happy together," an eyewitness told Page Six at the time.
The comedian appeared to confirm the romance when he later told a fan that he was dating his "celebrity crush," which seems to be his M.O.
In the past few years, Pete has been romantically linked to Cazzie David, Kate Beckinsale, Margaret Qualley and Kaia Gerber. He was also famously engaged to Ariana Grande for a hot minute back in 2018.
