An irate neighbor in North Carolina opened fire on a family, hitting both parents and their 6-year-old daughter, after a basketball accidentally rolled into his yard, RadarOnline.com has learned.
Around 8 p.m. on April 18, a group of kids was playing basketball when the ball bounced into the alleged gunman’s yard, as Front Page Detectives reported.
Kinsley White needed stitches on her face from bullet fragments, WSOC reported.
Her mother, Ashley Hildebrand, was grazed by a bullet and is recovering at home with her daughter.

Kinsley’s father, William White, was critically injured attempting to protect his daughter, officials said.
William reportedly tried to draw gunfire toward him to keep his children safe before he was shot in the back. He was still in the hospital on April 19.
“We don’t even know the man,” Kinsley told WSOC. “Why did you shoot my daddy and me? Why did you shoot a kid’s dad?”
Hildebrand told WSOC, “He looked at my husband and my daughter and told them, ‘I’m going to kill you.'"
Authorities said Singletary is still on the run and they are seeking the public’s help in finding and arresting the fugitive, offering a $1,000 reward.
He has been charged with four counts of first-degree attempted murder, two counts of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill or inflict serious injury and one count of possession of a firearm by a felon, officials said.
