The suspected shooter, identified as Robert Louis Singletary, 24, got upset and ran down the street as he shot at a neighbor, witnesses told WSOC-TV.

Singletary then came back to his house and is accused of shooting at the family, including their young daughter.

“We don’t even know the man,” Kinsley told WSOC. “Why did you shoot my daddy and me? Why did you shoot a kid’s dad?”

Hildebrand told WSOC, “He looked at my husband and my daughter and told them, ‘I’m going to kill you.'"

Authorities said Singletary is still on the run and they are seeking the public’s help in finding and arresting the fugitive, offering a $1,000 reward.

He has been charged with four counts of first-degree attempted murder, two counts of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill or inflict serious injury and one count of possession of a firearm by a felon, officials said.
