Nick Cannon's baby mama Alyssa Scott will be spending this Christmas grieving their infant son Zen who passed away from a brain tumor just earlier this month.
The model shared a heartbreaking message on Thursday, revealing she's still washing and folding their late son's clothing. Posting a photo of Zen's crib with clothing and toys piled inside, including a onesie with "my first Christmas" stitched on it, Alyssa wrote, "Maybe you close the door to the nursery. Maybe you leave it open. Maybe you have boxed some things away - maybe you still fold and put them in the drawers. This is where I'm at."
"Walking by his room.. sometimes going in. Washing some of his clothes and putting aside others that still have his scent. A pile is growing because I don't know exactly what to do but I'm not rushing myself to a decision," she continued the emotional post.
"I am thinking of all who are grieving this holiday season. I am also reading your messages and keeping them close to me during this time," Alyssa said. Referencing the "my first Christmas" outfit, she added, "I was so excited for him to wear this onesie, I have had it laying out since Thanksgiving."
Earlier this month, Nick broke down on camera while telling his audience youngest child died after battling a secret brain tumor. Zen was only 5 months old.
Nick's dad James Cannon, all the mothers of his children came together — except Cannon's ex-wife Mariah Carey— for a meeting where the talk show host told them about his son's health struggles.
Zen was Nick's seventh child and Alyssa's second. The talk show host is a father to twins, Moroccan and Monroe, 10, who he shares with Mariah. He also welcomed Golden, 4, and Powerful Queen, 9 months old, with Brittany Bell, and another set of twins, Zion and Zillion, three months old, who he shares with DJ Abby De La Rosa.
