Body of missing man allegedly found in air vents at Michigan community college, officials said.

The body of a missing Michigan man was found inside the ventilation system of Macomb Community College, RadarOnline.com has learned.

On Nov. 26, police were called to the Macomb Center for Performing Arts to perform a search of the building in an attempt to locate the source of the foul odor, as Front Page Detectives reported.

Thompson was reported missing by his family on Nov. 1, officials said.

During the search, officers found the body of 36-year-old Jason Anthony Thompson inside the air vents at the Center Campus center in Clinton Township.

A performance was scheduled for that afternoon at the arts center, and authorities said it went on as planned.

His family last saw him on Oct. 25, police said.

Thompson was reported missing to the Sterling Heights Police Department on Nov. 1.

He was last seen by his family on Oct. 25, officials said.

While officials are waiting for a cause of death, they suspect no foul play, officials said.

Macomb Community College Police said they are awaiting a cause of death from the Macomb County medical examiner.

Authorities said Thompson has no connection to the Michigan college.

“There is no reason to suspect foul play,” said Macomb College Police Chief William Leavens in a news release. “At this point, it is important to remember that this is an ongoing investigation, with the goal to understand the circumstances.”

Authorities said Thompson has no connection to the Michigan college.

In a statement from MCC, officials said, “The college community extends heartfelt condolences during this difficult time to Mr. Thompson’s family and friends.”
