The body of a missing Michigan man was found inside the ventilation system of Macomb Community College, RadarOnline.com has learned.
On Nov. 26, police were called to the Macomb Center for Performing Arts to perform a search of the building in an attempt to locate the source of the foul odor, as Front Page Detectives reported.
During the search, officers found the body of 36-year-old Jason Anthony Thompson inside the air vents at the Center Campus center in Clinton Township.
A performance was scheduled for that afternoon at the arts center, and authorities said it went on as planned.
Macomb Community College Police said they are awaiting a cause of death from the Macomb County medical examiner.
“There is no reason to suspect foul play,” said Macomb College Police Chief William Leavens in a news release. “At this point, it is important to remember that this is an ongoing investigation, with the goal to understand the circumstances.”
