Melania Trump was reportedly sound asleep on election night 2020 while her husband, former President Donald Trump, was anticipating the results of the election against Joe Biden.

The Daily Mail reported Wednesday that according to excerpts from former Press Secretary Stephanie Grisham’s upcoming book, I'll Take Your Questions Now: What I Saw in The White House, the former First Lady was asleep for a large part of election night.

Melania was reportedly awoken around 2:30 in the morning so she could join then-President Trump for a press conference, where he declared a premature victory and spouted conspiracy theories like election fraud.

Grisham also reportedly says how she and Melania were at Trumps’ Mar-a-Lago residence the night before, staying up late to prepare for election night then waking up early so they could vote in Florida before ultimately flying back to Washington. D.C.

Although Grisham reportedly acknowledges how much Melania appreciates her sleep and tries to give her the benefit of the doubt regarding the situation, she was slightly surprised about the whole thing.

This new bombshell claim by former Press Secretary and Chief of Staff Stephanie Grisham comes only a couple of days after RadarOnline.com reported that Melania refused to condemn the January 6th riot on the U.S. Capitol.

“Do you want to tweet that peaceful protests are the right of every American, but there is no place for lawlessness and violence?” Grisham claims she asked the then First Lady on the day of the riots.

So far, these are the only two bombshell stories offered by Grisham’s upcoming book, but reports say I'll Take Your Questions Now: What I Saw in The White House is packed with other information and revelations that no one besides Grisham knew about — until now.
