Mel B 'Concerned' For Daughter's Safety, Claims Ex Stephen Belafonte 'Video-Called' 9-Year-Old While Surrounded By Women In 'Thongs' In Nasty Custody Battle
Mel B claims she's "concerned" over her daughter Madison's safety, alleging her ex-husband Stephen Belafonte has been making some questionable "parenting decisions" lately -- like calling the 9-year-old while surrounded by women in thongs.
The 46-year-old Spice Girl is pleading with a judge to grant her more time with Madison as the exes are locked in a bitter custody battle.
According to The Sun, Mel B filed documents telling the court she's "increasingly concerned about Madison's safety" and lists an alleged video call that reportedly took place between Belafonte and their daughter that added to her worries.
Following their 2017 divorce, the Who Do You Think You Are singer moved back to the United Kingdom, but Madison stayed in Los Angeles with her father.
Mel B claims Belafonte had “video communication with Madison while he is on a yacht surrounded by young women consuming alcohol and dancing in thongs," adding this as one of the examples of his questionable "parenting decisions."
She allegedly told the court that Belafonte has no time to parent the 9-year-old.
"Stephen is working constantly, leaving our daughter in the care of third parties for extended times and through the days and nights," she reportedly told an L.A. court.

Mel B also claimed her ex-husband has often left Madison with an “associate” of Lorraine Gilles to travel the world.
FYI -- Gilles is the former couple's nanny that helped break up their marriage.
The Spice Girl says she's been "ignore and lied to" by Belafonte.
Mel B's latest accusations come just months after she gave OK! magazine a shocking interview, alleging she was forced to go "months at a time" without seeing Madison due to the Coronavirus restrictions.
"I've been a single parent for a long time, as I've always been the one who financially and emotionally supported my family," she told the outlet.
"Unfortunately, due to the justice system, a difficult situation with my ex, and the fact that my youngest is an American citizen, I have shared care of Madison – and because of Covid, flying between America and the UK has been really difficult," Mel B added.
