Meghan Markle's Estranged Father Thomas Breaks Silence On Birth Of Granddaughter, Despite Not Taking To Duchess In Three Years
Meghan Markle's estranged father is speaking out following the birth of his granddaughter.
Thomas Markle -- who hasn't spoken to his daughter in three years -- opened up about the exciting arrival of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's second child.
As RadarOnline.com reported, Meghan and Prince Harry added another kid to their brood over the weekend.
They announced the birth of their newborn daughter and revealed the unique name they gave her to pay tribute to both the late Princess Diana and Queen Elizabeth.
Lilibet “Lili” Diana Mountbatten-Windsor was born on Friday, June 4.
Lilibet is Queen Elizabeth's nickname and Diana is a clear nod to Harry's beloved mom, who passed away in 1997
While the royal family has released a statement revealing how "delighted" they are with the news, they aren't the only estranged members speaking out.

Thomas Markle addressed the birth of his daughter's child just one day after the announcement.
"I am very pleased with the announcement of the safe and healthy delivery of my new granddaughter, and I wish her and her mother all my love and best wishes," Thomas said over the weekend.
It's worth nothing, Thomas has yet to meet the couple's first child, two-year-old son Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor.
As for Harry's family, they have all sent their congratulations to the duo.
"The Queen, The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall, and The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have been informed and are delighted with the news of the birth of a daughter for The Duke and Duchess of Sussex," the official statement from Buckingham Palace read.
The Queen, Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall (Prince Charles and wife Camilla), and Duke and Duchess of Cambridge (Prince William and Kate Middleton) retweeted the statement on their social media.
“It is with great joy that Prince Harry and Meghan, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, welcome their daughter, Lilibet ‘Lili’ Diana Mountbatten-Windsor, to the world,” the statement from the press secretary for the Duke and Duchess said on Sunday.
Saying that "both mother and child are healthy and well, and settling in at home," the statement revealed Meghan and Harry's daughter was born on Friday at 11:40 AM “in the trusted care of the doctors and staff at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital in Santa Barbara, Calif."
