Andrew D. Emerald, of Great Barrington, near the New York border, is accused of posting eight threatening messages on Facebook from May to July of 2025.
'Trump is Dead and In the Ground By 2026'

Andrew D. Emerald posted threatening messages about Trump on Facebook.
The 45-year-old was indicted by a federal grand jury on "eight counts of interstate transmission of threatening communications," according to the Massachusetts District Attorney's office.
Emerald cut right to the chase in his first post, dated May 3, 2025: "When I see to it that Trump is put to death, it will be the the day the purpose creation put me here for beyond creating."
Ten days later, he stepped up his threats: "Oh, I’m not just watching!! Either Trump is dead and in the ground by 2026 or I am hunting him down and putting him there. Do you hear that FBI and any other organization that wants to show up at my f--king door? Put the enemy of the United States in a f--king body bag or I will."
Andrew D. Emerald's Shocking Facebook Messages

Emerald threatened to put the president in a 'bodybag.'
Just two days later, on May 15, Emerald upped his threats: "We're going to f--king kill Trump on public television so the world sees what we do to f--king monsters and then we’re gonna hang him from the Statue of Liberty until his pathetic bloated corpse rots off falls in the ocean, and I swept out the to see with humanities trash.
"After what I just heard if Trump is not dead by 2026 I’m going to Mar-a-Lago and I’m going after myself."
Later that day, he followed up: "That’s not a threat that's a f--king promise and I don’t have Trump arrangement (sic) syndrome. The bulls--- they made up. I’m going after him for taking my second amendment rights on constitutionally for calling him the Russian asset that he is!"

He also threatened to 'burn him to the ground.'
In the first of two posts from May 30, Emerald wrote: "If others have not taken care of you before the end of the year, Trump, I will, and I won’t make the mistake of not knowing where the f--k you are when I come for you. I'll make sure you’re at Mar-a-Lago when I burn it to the f--king ground."
He doubled down in his next post, elaborating: "And you shouldn't have listened to my father when he said I wasn’t dangerous.
"I burned a house to the ground once in my life on accident (sic) when I burn you to the ground, it will very much be by intention, and I will revel in it instead of regret it for the rest of my life."
'I Will Be Executing a Monster'

Emerald could get five years in prison and pay a $250,000 fine.
On June 14, Emerald tried to justify his plans, slamming: "You're a monster to f--king humanity and it is my mission in this life to end your f--king existence.
"And I won't be murdering you I will be executing a monster. I will be fulfilling my constitutional duty to execute a criminal citizen that’s committed high treason just like the constitution tells me too, (sic) tells us all f--king too (sic)."
His final post came on July 7: "Trump either you're dead by 2026 or I’m coming for you personally and if I'm the one that kills you, you’re gonna suffer you little f--king b---h."
Emerald faces a charge of interstate transmission of threatening communications. He faces up to five years in prison, three years of supervised release, and a fine of $250,000."
