Marilyn Manson Turns Himself Over To Police After Being Wanted For Alleged Assault On Videographer
Marilyn Manson is no longer wanted man in New Hampshire.
The 52-year-old shock rocker turned himself into police over an alleged assault that took place nearly two years ago.
Manson -- whose real name is Brian Hugh Warner -- faces two counts misdemeanor simple assault for allegedly spitting on the female videographer's camera multiple times during his show at the Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion on Aug. 18, 2019.
The musician turned himself over to authorities in Los Angeles on July 2.
Manson's attorneys worked out an agreement with Gilford police that allowed the singer to serve the warrant in California.
He didn't spend too long there.
According to reports, Manson was released on personal recognizance bail just in time to enjoy the July 4th weekend.
The rocker has agreed to be on his best behavior following his release.
Manson is not to have any contact with the alleged victim. He also promises not to commit any crimes and says he'll show up to all of his court hearings.
The Gilford Police Department revealed Manson had an open arrest warrant in May.

"Mr. Warner, his agent and legal counsel have been aware of the warrant for some time and no effort has been made by him to return to New Hampshire to answer the pending charges," read the statement from GPD. "The videographer had been subcontracted by a NH-based company to video the concert, and had been located in the stage pit area when the alleged assaults occurred," the police department stated at the time.
If convicted, Manson faces up to one year in jail and a $2,000 fine.
Manson's attorney addressed the arrest warrant, saying, "This whole claim is ludicrous, but we remain committed to cooperating with authorities, as we have done throughout."
This isn't the only legal issue the singer is facing.
Actresses Evan Rachel Wood and Esmé Bianco-- along with more than a dozen women -- have accused the rockstar of abuse.
Manson's ex-assistant Ashley Walters claimed he bragged about "raping women."
She alleged he displayed threatening behavior towards her during his “drug induced fits of rage" and pushed her into a wall.
The Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department is investigating the abuse allegations against the rocker.
