Marilyn Manson Set To Turn Himself Into Police Over Assault On Videographer Amid Abuse Allegations, Faces One Year In Jail
Marilyn Manson has agreed to turn himself into authorities but it's not for the accusations brought on by more than a dozen women.
The 52-year-old rocker is reportedly gearing up to surrender to police in Los Angeles on an arrest warrant after he allegedly assaulted a videographer at a New Hampshire concert in 2019.
According to New Hampshire television station WMUR 9, Manson -- whose real name is Brian Warner -- has come to an agreement with Gilford police.
He will turn himself over to authorities in California and be arraigned in New Hampshire’s Laconia District Court later this summer.
The Beautiful People singer faces two counts of misdemeanor assault for allegedly spitting on the female videographer's camera multiple times during his show at the Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion on Aug. 18, 2019.
The Gilford Police Department revealed Manson had an open arrest warrant in May.
"Mr. Warner, his agent and legal counsel have been aware of the warrant for some time and no effort has been made by him to return to New Hampshire to answer the pending charges," read the statement from GPD. "The videographer had been subcontracted by a NH-based company to video the concert, and had been located in the stage pit area when the alleged assaults occurred," the police department stated.

If convicted, Manson faces up to one year in jail and a $2,000 fine.
Manson's attorney addressed the arrest warrant last month, saying, "This whole claim is ludicrous, but we remain committed to cooperating with authorities, as we have done throughout."
These aren't the only legal issues the singer is facing.
Actresses Evan Rachel Wood and Esmé Bianco -- along with more than a dozen women -- have accused the rockstar of abuse.
Last month, his ex-assistant Ashley Walters claimed Manson bragged about "raping women."
She alleged he displayed threatening behavior towards her during his “drug induced fits of rage" and pushed her into a wall.
Walters also claimed Manson bragged that "he had gotten away with raping women" and often admitted to "he wanted to kill women he was involved with."
The Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department is investigating the abuse allegations against the rocker.
