Kim Kardashian and her best friend La La Anthony will be going through divorces at the same time.
According to reports, the 41-year-old former Total Request Live VJ filed for divorce from her estranged husband Carmelo Anthony on Thursday in New York City.
La La and the NBA star walked down the aisle in 2010, but their relationship has been through its own fair share of drama.
The once-happy couple has separated, and a reconciliation.
Despite La La and Carmelo's attempt to give their relationship another shot, they have decided to make their separation official, but the two will remain tight.
The ex-MTV star reportedly cited irreconcilable differences on her divorce papers.
Sources connected to the former couple say they will stay friends.
La La and Carmelo share one son -- a 14-year-old son, Kiyan -- and are allegedly dedicated to keeping their divorce as smooth as possible for him.
According to reports, Kiyan is their priority, and they are committed to co-parenting.
La La and Carmelo first split in 2017 following reports he cheated. The following year, the duo appeared to have moved past the drama and were trying to work it out.
In 2019, La La admitted her marriage to the basketball player was "strained" after more cheating accusations emerged.
Interestingly enough, La La will now get to live out singlehood with her bestie.
Kim filed for divorce from rapper Kanye West in February this year after six years of marriage.
The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star's plate is a little fuller than her newly single girlfriend.
Kim and Kanye have four kids together -- North, 8, Saint, 5, Chicago, 3, and Psalm, 2.
While Kim isn't linked to anyone romantically yet, the Jesus Is King rapper has already moved on in the love department.
After weeks of speculation surrounding him and supermodel Irina Shayk, the two confirmed the dating rumors by jetting off to France to make their couple debut last week.
It's not all roses in paradise though.
Sources tell Radar, Kanye is "disappointed" in the lack of media coverage surrounding his new relationship with Irina.
"Without Kim, his media power has diminished dramatically," our insider says, adding, "Naturally, he is blaming Irina for this, and not himself."
