Kanye West was nowhere to be found at his Donda after-party immediately following the rapper's mic-throwing meltdown due to audio issues. The 44-year-old rapper reportedly skipped out on the post-show celebration in Miami, despite shoveling out tons of cash to throw it.
“His team spent money on the party,” a source told Page Six. “He was supposed to be there.”
According to the outlet, the party went down at Club XXIII on Monday. Ye failed to make an appearance despite his close friend Justin LaBoy hosting the celebration and his rapper pals 2 Chainz, The Game, DaBaby, Fabolous, and Pusha T showing up to show their support.
The Game didn’t let Kanye’s absence affect his mood. The rapper, who joined Ye on the stage at his Donda show, was spotted rapping from the DJ booth.
“All these people showed up and were wondering ‘Where is Kanye?'” an insider said. “Every time a Sprinter [van] pulled up, people were like, ‘Is it him?'”
Partygoers didn’t let Ye’s no-show ruin their time. “It was great,” another source told the outlet. “People just gave up and had a good time. It was a running joke, ‘Is he here yet?'”
As RadarOnline.com reported, Kanye’s Donda 2 listening show was a complete disaster. Not only did the performance allegedly start two hours late, but the Jesus Is King rapper had a complete meltdown after experiencing technical difficulties. At one point, he even threw his mic in anger.
Of course, Kanye didn’t miss an opportunity to bag his estranged wife, Kim Kardashian, or her new lover, aka Ye’s archenemy, Pete Davidson.
He played Kim’s Saturday Night Live monologue where she called him a “creative genius." He also trolled Davidson with his song Eazy in which he threatens to beat the comedian up.
Kanye’s strategy at bringing his family “back together” isn’t working. As RadarOnline.com exclusively reported, Kim rushed to court begging for the judge to terminate their marital status. The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star even claims his outbursts are causing her emotional distress.
“I very much desire to be divorced. I have asked Kanye to keep our divorce private, but he has not done so. Kanye has been putting a lot of misinformation regarding our private family matters and co-parenting on social media which has created emotional distress,” the documents obtained by RadarOnline.com read.
Kim filed for divorce from Kanye in February 2021 after six years of marriage. They share four children — North, 8, Saint, 6, Chicago, 4, and Psalm, 2. While RadarOnline.com is told Kim desperately wants to focus on successfully co-parenting with Kanye, his problematic behavior isn’t making it easy.
