Kanye West Allegedly Likened Living With Kim Kardashian To Being In Prison, Sources Close To Rapper Deny Report

A source claimed Kanye West got raw and emotional during a listening party for his forthcoming album, Donda, but RadarOnline.com is told his team is denying it.

The 44-year-old rapper reportedly bore his soul to a select few at Las Vegas' ChurchLV on Sunday, where attendees said he broke down in tears after playing one specific track, titled Welcome To My Life.

A report earlier today alleged that Kim Kardashian's estranged husband took the stage to discuss his life over the past two years, including his heartbreaking split from the 40-year-old reality star-turned-makeup mogul, his very public meltdown on Twitter, and his failed bid to become President of the United States.

However, we're told his team claims none of this is true.

"It's a very deep, sad song about Kanye, with him reflecting on his marriage with Kim," a person who claims they attended the listening party told The Sun. "He talks about the kids and mentions her taking everything."

"After he played this song he paused for like, two minutes, and cried," the insider added. "It was really sombre."

Kanye even reportedly likened living with the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star to being in prison, allegedly rapping, "Tell the assassins I escaped from Calabasas."

The source told the outlet that only a handful of very specific guests were invited to the event, just hours before it was set to begin. Attendees were reportedly required to lock their phones up in pouches so they could not record any audio or video.

The album – which will be Kanye's 10th and his first since splitting from Kim – is set to be released this Friday. It's named after his mother, whose death in 2007 at the age of 58 sent the rapper into a "deep depression."

Many say the musician has not been the same since.

In February of this year, Kardashian filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences.

Toward the end of their six-year marriage, West seemingly started to spiral, making the bizarre proclamation that he felt slavery was a "choice," and going on tangents in interviews.

Last July, he announced on Twitter he was running in the 2020 presidential election.

Days later, at his first rally, he cried as he told the crowd that his oldest daughter with Kim, 8-year-old North West, was almost aborted.

The former couple also shares 5-year-old son Saint West, 3-year-old daughter Chicago West and 2-year-old son Psalm West.

Kanye is now dating Bradley Cooper's 35-year-old supermodel ex-girlfriend, Irina Shayk, while Kim is gearing up to relaunch her KKW Beauty brand under a new name – likely one that doesn't reflect her soon-to-be ex-husband.
