Drake's Archenemy Kanye West Moves 'Donda' Album Date To Compete With 'Certified Lover Boy' On August 6
Drake and Kanye West will be battling it out in the charts next week. RadarOnline.com is told the longtime enemies are planning to their albums on the same day.
Fans have eagerly been waiting for Drake's Certified Lover Boy record to drop, and we've confirmed his projected August 6 release is still a go -- despite Kanye's plans to drop his already-delayed Donda album that day.
Meaning, as long as Ye follows through, the real-life archenemies will be fighting once again.
The Grammy winners' beef goes way back, following rumors that Drake used to hook up with Kim Kardashian.
While Kanye's now soon-to-be ex-wife denied the rumors, it didn't help when Champagne Papi released his 2018 hit, In My Feelings.
Many fans speculated the "KiKi" the rapper referred to in the song was Kim.
Nick Cannon added fuel to the fire when he seemingly confirmed the Kim/Drake hookup rumors.
"There is something real personal Drake holds over that whole family. Like, y’all don’t want me to let this out," Nick warned at the time.
Kanye fired back, unleashing a social media tirade on Drake and Cannon.
