Kanye West Signs Bizarre Signature On Legal Documents Demanding Judge Change His Name To Ye, See The Shocking Petition!
Kanye West is officially trying to leave the building. The 44-year-old has filed documents demanding a judge legally change his name to his nickname, Ye.
RadarOnline.com has obtained the documents filed in Los Angeles court, where the 22-time Grammy winner is asking to ditch his famous name, signing the paperwork with his head-scratching John Hancock.
The petition for his name change is pretty cut and dry. Kanye Omari West wishes to legally remove his birth name and wants to go simply by Ye.
He does not list a last name, which is interesting considering he shares West with his four children.
Kanye also signed the legal documents with a signature that makes no sense at all.
In the declaration dated August 11, the Gold Digger rapper simply scribbled an A. Obviously, neither his first, middle nor last name starts with that letter.
Kanye's name change request comes just six months after Kim Kardashian pulled the plug on their marriage after nearly 7 years.
She filed for divorce in February.

As for Kim, she is still rocking the West last name in addition to her famous Kardashian surname.
Kanye is also going through a breakup after ending his relationship with supermodel Irina Shayk.
His split with the runway vixen comes just days after he reunited with Kim during a romantic lunch for two.
It appears Kanye's hectic work life seemed to add to their breakup — something Kim knows too well.
"It was never a serious thing that took off," a source told PEOPLE. "Kanye has been busy working and spending time with his kids. This is his focus. He doesn't have time to date right now."
Kanye and Irina were first linked in early June, marking his first relationship since Kim.
However, it appears the rapper is still hung up on his estranged wife because after ending his romance with Irina, Kanye was spotted wearing his wedding ring.
While Ye wants to shed his famous last name, he might have to try harder to erase his past.
