Kacey Musgraves Not Pregnant With Boyfriend Cole Schafer's Baby, Country Singer's Rep Scoffs At Rumors
Kacey Musgraves is not pregnant, despite rumors.
Speculation the 33-year-old was expecting her first child with her boyfriend, Cole Schafer, hit social media like a wildfire on Thursday, after an insider claimed to spill the baby beans to pop culture site Deuxmoi.
But Musgraves' rep tells RadarOnline.com, that's simply not true.
The 33-year-old Slow Burn superstar's rep, Benny Tarantini, scoffed at the reports. "I can confirm on record that she is not pregnant," Tarantini told RadarOnline.com exclusively.
A tipster wrote to Deuxmoi, claiming, "this country singer has a bun in the oven. Affecting the whole tour, won't do any costume changes." While the anonymous person did not drop names, there are several reasons why fans jumped at the idea it was Musgraves.
For one, the subject read, "Slow bun" — a clear pun on Musgraves' 2018 smash hit.
Musgraves is also in the middle of her Star-Crossed: Unveiled tour. She revealed she was going on the road last year. Her North American tour began in January and will wrap on February 20 at the Los Angeles Crypto.com Arena (aka Staples Center).
Fans immediately lost it, taking to social media and continuing to spread the false baby narrative.

The 6-time Grammy winner has only been dating her boyfriend for 8 months. Musgraves was first linked to the poet in June 2021 when they were spotted walking the streets of New York holding hands.
Later that month, Schafer made their relationship Instagram official. Posting a sweet photo of the country singer sitting on his lap, the wordsmith captioned the snap, “I’m trying like hell not to write about her.”
On his birthday in January, Musgraves gushed over her man, revealing just how serious their relationship has grown over the past few months.
"I learn so much from you. You’re a teacher and a treasure, and your 28 Earth years have nothing on your spiritual years. You walk the f—king walk and that’s why you’re so deeply admired and respected. … I thank my stars every day that you exist and that I get to be loved by a man like you. Cheers to this year being even more gorgeous than the last," she wrote.
Before her relationship with Schafer, Musgraves was a married woman. The Breadwinner songbird filed for divorce from Ruston Kelly in July 2020, less than three years after the two said "I do."
They finalized their divorce in September of last year, paving the way for her to move on with Schafer.
