Jodie Sweetin hashed out a private financial settlement with her ex-husband Morty Coyle months before getting engaged to her fiancé, Mescal Wasilewski.
According to court documents obtained by Radar, Sweetin and Coyle were able to avoid a costly trial back in July. They notified the court they had reached an agreement on his demand for an increase in child support.
Sweetin and Coyle got hitched in 2012. However, a little over a year later the actress slapped her husband with legal papers asking for a legal separation.
The split dragged on for years with the two going back and forth in court. They ended up settling the case in 2016. They share an 11-year-old daughter Beatrix Carlin Sweetin-Coyle.

In 2017, Sweetin was ordered to pay her ex-husband $2,800 per month in child support.
Last year, Sweetin went back to court claiming her income had dropped drastically due to the pandemic and Fuller House being canceled by Netflix. She told the court she had no “foreseeable work” in the future.
“My current support obligation for our minor child, Beatrix Carlin Sweetin Coyle (DOB: 08/31/2010) was established while I was starring on “Fuller House” a reboot of the series which established my acting career, “Full House”. “Fuller House” ran from 2016 to 2020. After the show ended my income decreased by over half(1/2) of what it reached in 2019 where I was being paid for each episode of “Fuller House” and receiving residual income from the show. Since then, my income has only further declined."

She argued that she needed to take care of her two daughters, pay her taxes and pay for other expenses “unique to actresses in order to maintain my appearance.”
Financial records showed the actress had $96k in the bank and owed quite a bit to the IRS.
Coyle argued Sweetin was still racking in the dough despite the sitcom being off the air. He claimed financial records would prove the actress pulled in over $200k for the prior year and said she was making money making custom videos for fans on Cameo.
Sweetin revealed she made $32k from the platform in 2021.
The couple was set to face off in court but were able to reach a deal beforehand.
Coyle is Sweeting’s third ex-husband. Earlier this week, she announced her longtime boyfriend Mescal Wasilewski popped the question.
