Jennifer Lopez Shoots Down Hoda Kotb's Attempt To Dish On Ben Affleck Romance With Shady Response
Jennifer Lopez knows how to be low-key shady and charming at the same time.
The 51-year-old singer showed off her chameleon side on Tuesday when Hoda Kobt continuously pushed her on talking about her on-again romance with Ben Affleck.
The awkward incident went down on the Today Show when J Lo appeared on-camera virtually with Lin-Manuel Miranda to discuss the re-release of their song Love Makes the World Go Round.
While Hoda was excited to ask about the music, she slyly attempted to switch the topic to J Lo's love life with the Academy award winner.
Icing out Miranda to address the Hustlers actress, the show host turned her focus to J Lo.
"You look happier. Look, I just have to tell you, every time I see a picture of you and Ben, I'm like, 'She looks happier, she looks happier,'" Hoda said, before asking, "Are we happier?"
Completely ignoring Hoda's question about her personal life, J Lo demanded they refocus on the song's release.
"Love Make The World" was the musicians' charity song in response to the Pulse nightclub shooting, which took place in 2016.
Proving she's a pro, J Lo didn't break a sweat, responding, "The song is out. It's been 5 years since we've done it and I believe that message of loving one another and coming together -- and love -- is never more relevant than it is right now."

The singer's quick thinking prompted cheers from Miranda and uncomfortable laughs from Hoda.
That didn't stop the show host from trying one last time.
"Wait, it's me you're talking to, you know that," Hoda said with a smile.
J Lo shut her down again, this time with an even shadier response that she attempted to disguise as a joke.
Channeling her inner Bronx diva, J Lo clapped back calmly by saying, "I know. You can call me. You have my number."
Flashing a forced smile at the end, the Today Show editors cut the interview there.
J Lo and Affleck have been inseparable since her breakup with Alex Rodriguez in April.
The duo has even been spotted house hunting, despite J Lo waiting until she's "financially free" from A-Rod to pull the trigger.
