Jason Derulo Detained By Police After Getting Into Fight At Restaurant
Jason Derulo was handcuffed and detained by police after being involved in a fight at a restaurant on Monday night.
In a video posted to Instagram by The Neighborhood Talk, the 32-year-old American singer, songwriter, and dancer can be seen on the ground outside of an unspecified restaurant while someone is trying to hold him down.
In the background of the clip, another man can be seen on the ground before being helped up to his feet by security.
The video then skips to the restaurant security directing people out of the way before Derulo, who is seen handcuffed and being escorted by two police officers, enters the scene again being led to what is presumably a police car.
It is not known at this time if the singer was charged with any crimes for the apparent fight at the restaurant. It is also not known what exactly happened prior to the video that led to the scuffle.
Although there are perhaps more questions than answers regarding this incident, the comments on the fight video are nothing less than entertaining.
“The year just started and it’s already lit,” one person commented along with a laughing emoji. “Anything Jason Derulo does is funny to me idc,” another person commented about the singer’s tussle last night.
As RadarOnline.com previously reported, this latest incident involving Derulo comes only a few months after he and his former girlfriend Jena Frumes announced their split following the birth of their child. It appears the two are now back together.
"Jena and I have decided to part ways," the singer wrote on Twitter in September. "She is an amazing mother but we feel being apart at this time will allow us to be the best versions of ourselves and the best parents we could be. Pls respect our privacy in this time."
Jena gave birth to their son, Jason King Derulo, in May. Besides Jena, Derulo has also dated Jordin Sparks, Daphne Joy, and Ragon Miller.
At this time, neither Derulo nor anyone from his team has spoken out about what exactly happened leading up to the singer’s fight and detainment by police last night.
