An Indiana woman was convicted on rape and murder charges after a threesome turned deadly, RadarOnline.com has learned.
On October 19, 2021, Heidi Kathleen Carter, 37, invited a woman she met on a dating app and the woman's boyfriend, Tim Ivy, 50, over to her home in Evansville, court records state, Front Page Detectives reported.
After drinking alcohol and taking drugs, the three engaged in consensual sex, but the tryst became violent when Carter’s boyfriend, Carrey Hammond, arrived at the house and became enraged and allegedly attacked Ivy.
“The next thing I know, there’s a man bursting through the door with a baseball bat attacking us,” recalled the surviving female victim, according to WKRC.
Court records allege that Hammond tied up the couple with duct tape, beating and abusing the pair for hours with Carter’s help.
According to the female victim, Carter held a gun to the couple and threatened to kill them while Hammond sexually assaulted the woman. Carter was also allegedly verbally encouraging Hammond during the attack.
Hammond reportedly strangled Ivy to death using his belt after Carter's fling tried to escape his duct tape restraints.
According to court records, Hammond allegedly wrapped Ivy’s body in blankets, and Carter offered to help move his body to a different room.
After the slaying, the couple reportedly hired a housekeeper to come in and clean the house. While Carter and Hammond ordered pizza, they instructed her to clean two bedrooms.
While cleaning, the housekeeper allegedly heard a female crying for help. When the housekeeper “went to sit down on what she thought was a pile of pillows and blankets” she noticed there was a body, FOX News reported.

Hammond and Carter unsuccessfully attempted to stop the housekeeper from fleeing the residence, but she eventually escaped and sought help.
When authorities arrived at the house, Hammond exited holding an object that appeared to be a gun. Officers opened fire, killing Hammond.
