Prosecutors in advance of Bryan Kohberger's upcoming trial are seeking to get ahold of evidence that might support his innocence regarding the murder of four University of Idaho students last year, RadarOnline.com has learned.
On July 27, prosecutors filed a motion to compel the defense to share information in connection with Kohberger’s alibi, as Front Page Detectives reported.
As RadarOnline.com reported, Kohberger's legal team claimed earlier this week that he was not present at the location where the students were stabbed, but they refrained from providing further details. Kohberger entered a plea of not guilty in the case.
Kohberger, 28, was studying for a Ph.D. in criminology at Washington State University when police believe he broke into a home in Moscow, Idaho, and fatally stabbed four students — Kaylee Goncalves, 21; Madison Mogen, 21; Xana Kernodle, 20; and Kernodle's boyfriend, Ethan Chapin, 20 — in November 2022.

In another recent filing, the defense made the suggestion that the DNA evidence could have been planted “during an investigation that spans hundreds of members of law enforcement and apparently at least one lab the State refuses to name,” Front Page Detectives reported.
Prosecutors have refuted the claim that any evidence collected in the murder case was “rigged.”
Kohberger was charged with four counts of first-degree murder and burglary.
