Hillary Clinton Keeps Distance From Husband Bill During Tense Beach Stroll As Monica Lewinsky Affair Scandal Resurfaces
Hillary Clinton did not look happy with her husband Bill Clinton on their annual beach getaway as his affair scandal with Monica Lewinsky is set to explode back into the spotlight.
The 73-year-old couldn't keep enough distance between herself and the former President while walking on the sand in the Hamptons.
Hillary was seen looking glum and all covered up to make sure the sun didn't hit any inch of her body.
Wearing a long-sleeved blue shirt, the once female President hopeful slipped into a pair of denim pants, green sneakers, and a beige hat that gave her plenty of shade.
As for her husband, he wore a plain black t-shirt, tight jeans, red Nikes, and a baseball cap.
In the photos taken Tuesday, it appears like Hillary wants nothing to do with Bill. She was spotted walking several feet in front of him during their sunset wander.
The only time the Clintons were actually photographed side by side was when they were on the pier — but that's most likely because there aren't many directions to go.
At one point, Hillary is seen plopping down on the pier while playing on her phone and completely ignoring a hovering Bill.

Of course, the former President and First Lady weren't walking solo. Secret Service trailed behind them in every shot.
Days before, Bill appeared jolly at a charity softball game. Eyes were on him and his tropical Hawaiian shirt while speaking to the crowd.
Hillary's tense mood might be due to Ryan Murphy's Impeachment: American Crime Story — which is set to air next week.
The FX series will take a deep look at Bill's sex scandal with then-White House intern Lewinsky, played by Beanie Feldstein, during his time in office.
Clive Owen will take on the role of Bill.
"Impeachment: American Crime Story will…explore the overlooked dimensions of the women who found themselves caught up in the scandal and political war that cast a long shadow over the Clinton Presidency," FX chairman John Landgraf promised.
Hillary caught flak when she stuck by her husband's side despite his cheating ways. Fast-forward to nearly three decades later, and she's still cleaning up Bill's mess (no pun intended).
