An intoxicated man in Georgia allegedly stole a private ambulance and then attempted to elude sheriff’s deputies by running away without any clothes on, RadarOnline.com has learned.

Around 10 p.m. on Feb. 9, deputies from the Bibb County Sheriff's Office responded to reports of a man aggressively driving an ambulance driving without the headlights on, as Front Page Detectives reported.

Witnesses said the vehicle, which reportedly belongs to a local man, was “doing burnouts” in a parking lot near Mercer University Drive in Macon.

The driver, identified as Bradley Jermaine Baker, 48, allegedly ignored a deputy’s flashing lights and initially refused to pull over but later stopped near a Regency Inn & Suites motel.

At that point, Baker, who the sheriff's office said was “completely nude and in full view of the public in the parking lot,” attempted to run away from officers.

After a brief foot chase, Baker was arrested, and officials alleged he appeared to be under the influence of cocaine or spice.

Baker was charged with driving with a license that was suspended or revoked, driving under the influence of drugs, probation violation, public indecency, fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer, and theft by taking.

The Telegraph reported it was not clear how Baker was in possession of the ambulance. However, an incident report shows he and the vehicle's owner both live at the same address and Baker was employed by the owner as a painter.

At the time of his arrest, Baker had active warrants out of Bibb County and Douglas County. According to officials, he is also a Florida sex offender and allegedly has on more than one occasion failed to register his Macon address as required by law, The Telegraph reported.

Last February, the suspect was indicted after he failed to register as a sex offender in connection with a 1997 sex crime conviction out of Volusia County, Florida. In that case, he served about three years in jail for lewd assault and sexual battery of a child under the age of 16.
