'Flip Or Flop' Star Christina Haack Asks Judge To Sign Off On Divorce From Ant Anstead After Ex Fails To Show Up To Court

Flip or Flop star Christina Haack has asked a judge in Orange County, California, to sign off on her divorce from Ant Anstead after he failed to appear in court.
According to legal documents, obtained by RadarOnline.com, the 37-year-old real estate flipper requested a "default and judgment" on April 30. If approved, the mother of three would be able to legally divorce the 42-year-old Wheeler Dealers star without needing his response to the petition.
It is not yet clear whether the English television presenter is purposefully not responding to his estranged wife's divorce filing, or simply allowing enough time to pass for an "uncontested" divorce to be ruled.
What's interesting, though, is that the exes share an infant son, 6-month-old Hudson Anstead. So it's odd that Anstead has not responded to Haack's initial divorce petition – which would give him the opportunity to request things like spousal support, child support and joint custody of Hudson – despite the fact that she already requested joint custody in November.
That's not to say the two can't work out details of a settlement and custody agreement privately, but they have not indicated as such to the court. Plus, Haack's "default" request could indicate that Anstead might not be cooperating.
Christina recently put the former couple's $6 million Newport Beach home – which contains five bedrooms and four-and-a-half bathrooms in its 4,804 square feet of living space – on the market. After they tied the knot in the beachy abode in December of 2018, Ant handed over his rights, giving his then-wife full ownership of the house.
Haack and Anstead announced their split in September of 2020, with Christina writing on Instagram at the time, "Ant and I have made the difficult decision to separate. We are grateful for each other and as always, our children will remain our priority. We appreciate your support and ask for privacy for us and our family as we navigate the future."
Two months later, she formally filed for divorce and asked for joint custody of Hudson.
Christina is also mom to daughter Taylor El Moussa, 10, and son Brayden El Moussa, 5, who she shares with ex-husband Tarek El Moussa. They were married from April 2009 to January 2018.
As for Ant, he is dad to teens Amelie Anstead and Archie Anstead, who he shares with ex-wife Louise Anstead. They were married from 2005 to 2017.
