Hours before former Nickelodeon star Drake Bell was arrested on child endangerment charges, he was promoting his live cameos with fans.
The 34-year-old's Twitter fingers were hard at work on Wednesday, making it appear he had no idea what was about to happen just hours later.
"I’m live on Cameo, come hang out," he tweeted while providing a link to the paid-for site.
"Let’s video chat 1-on-1 in the Cameo app on June 2nd at 10:43 PDT. Tap now to opt in and get a reminder," Bell wrote only moments prior.
Cleveland police took Bell into custody on Thursday.
According to court records obtained by RadarOnline.com, the actor -- known for his role on Drake & Josh -- has been charged with crimes against children.
Bell faces one count of attempted endangerment of a child and one count of disseminating matter harmful to juveniles.
He appeared before Cuyahoga County court on Thursday and plead not guilty to the incident, which reportedly occurred in December 2017.
Bell posted a $2,500 bond and was released.
In his mug shot, Bell looked almost amused with himself.
Flashing what appeared to be a smirk, the former Nickelodeon star peered at the camera and seemed ready for his close-up.
Before posting bail, Bell was told he is not to have any contact with the alleged victim.
While the reported incident allegedly happened in 2017, the actor was only indicted last month.
Bell is due back in court on June 23.
It's unclear if his arrest will throw a wrench in his upcoming plans.
Bell is scheduled to perform a series of concerts around the country in September, including one in Mexico next month.
This isn't the first time the actor has been in trouble with the law.
Bell was arrested in 2015 for a DUI. He pled guilty and just got a slap on the wrist.
The judge only sentenced Bell to 96 hours in the Los Angeles County Jail.
