Crosdale’s body was found inside a barrel, which reportedly matched barrels KMBC filmed outside the home of Timothy Haslett Jr. in Excelsior Springs in October 2022, the same month a woman reportedly escaped from his house and claimed she was beaten, bound and raped.

The kidnapping victim, who was forced to wear a dog collar, told police she escaped while Haslett took his child to school, as RadarOnline.com previously reported.

According to Dull, investigators were looking for Crosdale to help with an investigation into Haslett in connection with a separate alleged rape and kidnapping, KMBC reported.
