Bill Gates' divorce drama isn't getting in the way of Olympic gold because his future son-in-law is one step closer to victory!
Hours after a judge finalized the 65-year-old Microsoft mogul's divorce with wife of 27 years Melinda Gates, the former couple's soon-to-be bonus son competed and qualified in the next rounds of the Tokyo Olympics.
Despite reportedly claiming he had a "loveless" marriage, Bill and Melinda's oldest daughter Jennifer Gates isn't giving up on her happily ever after.
As RadarOnline.com reported, the 25-year-old is gearing up to exchange nuptials with professional Egyptian equestrian rider Nayer Nassar.
On Tuesday morning, he earned a spot in Wednesday's Tokyo finals.
Prior to the event, Bill showed his support by giving his future son-in-law an Instagram shoutout.
"I’m rooting for lots of the athletes in Tokyo right now—but none more than my soon-to-be son-in-law, @nayelnassar. Good luck, Nayel!" the tech mogul wrote over the weekend.
Nayer's win isn't just for himself -- it's for the whole Gates family, whose matriarch and patriarch's divorce made headlines yesterday.
Bill and Melinda's $130 billion divorce was made final on Monday, just three months after the 56-year-old philanthropist filed to end their nearly three-decades-long marriage.
When it comes to divorce specifics, Melinda isn't walking away with spousal support.
She does, however, get to keep Gates' famous last name.
Bill and Melinda agreed their property would be divided in agreement to their "separation contract," which means they had already settled who gets what.
While Melinda isn't getting any spousal support, she is most likely stepping away with a good chunk of change because the duo didn't have a prenup.
Bill's net worth is reportedly $130 billion.
The exes share three adult children.
Jennifer, 25, Rory, 22, and Phoebe, 18, so child support and custody are not issues.
When it comes to who will pay for Jennifer's wedding, it's not clear if Daddy will open his pocketbook.
During their nasty divorce war, their children's inheritance money was reportedly a big topic of conversation.
Despite their father being one of the richest men in the world, Bill allegedly was only giving them $10 million each, something that Melinda allegedly did not like.
