The 45-year-old former MLB star is now neighbors with his once-fiancée.
According to reports, A-Rod has moved into a $5 million Hamptons mansion less than one mile from his ex-girlfriend's home, just two months after their breakup.
The 9,200-square-foot property in Bridgehampton will not be A-Rod's permanent home though.
He is reportedly renting the seven-bedroom, 11-bathroom mansion while he continues his search for the perfect bachelor pad in Manhattan.
The distance between the properties isn't just a coincidence either.
He knows exactly where J Lo's $10 mansion is located because the former couple spent the entire summer there together with their children last year.
The Love Don't Cost a Thing singer purchased her 8,500 square feet custom-built home in 2013.
The exes' homes are just a three-minute drive from one another.
A-Rod's bold decision comes just days after he was linked to Dawson's Creek actress Katie Holmes.
After shooting down the dating rumors, the ex-Yankee was spotted with a beautiful brunette over dinner at Sag Harbor restaurant Le Bilboquet over the weekend.
"Alex had a long dinner on Friday with two women and his nephew Nick Silva. A very attractive brunette at his table turned some heads at the packed restaurant, with some wondering if she was Alex’s new girlfriend," a witness told Page Six.
A-Rod doesn't seem worried about running into his ex-fiancée. After all, she's in Los Angeles with her boyfriend, Ben Affleck.
Just last week, the couple was spotted all over each other during a family dinner.
J Lo was caught with her tongue down Affleck's throat while the duo dinned with her 13-year-old twins, Max and Emme.
Despite the PDA-filled date, the actor seemed to easily take A-Rod's place as stepdad.
"Ben and her kids seemed comfortable together," an insider said about the dinner. "The kids kept chatting with Ben. Ben seemed great. He was smiling and laughing. They ordered a lot of food to share. Ben had a Diet Coke."
