Alex Rodriguez's Monday turned into a cheat day after Ben Affleck was spotted shopping for engagement rings, just four months after the ex-Yankee's breakup with Jennifer Lopez.
The singer's ex-fiancé was caught shoveling stress eating and admitted it "wasn't a great day" after photos broke the internet showing Affleck at Tiffany & Co looking at sparklers.
Just months ago, A-Rod was the man engaged to J Lo. The duo called off their two-year engagement in April, and she quickly moved on to her ex from 17 years ago. J Lo and Affleck have been glued to each other's hips ever since.
Fresh off copping backlash for taking a dig at his former fiancée, A-Rod desperately tried to turn his frown upside down by indulging in some calorie-heavy ice cream.
Rocking a gray suit and lavender colored shirt, the MLB commentator looked a little rough after his work day.
Holding up a giant waffle cone, A-Rod opened wide and stuffed his face with the melting dessert. His pick of poison? Vanilla flavored ice cream with chocolate sprinkles.
"I had a long day today," J Lo's ex-fiancé admitted, adding, "it wasn't a great day, so I'm going to take it out on this ice cream."
Not breaking a smile, A-Rod continued, "Not every day is a good day."
It's a bold move to put his sorrows on social media just hours after Affleck sparked engagement rumors.

As RadarOnline.com reported, the Justice League actor was photographed looking at engagement rings at Tiffany & Co in Los Angeles yesterday.
He even brought his mom, Chris, and his 9-year-old son, Samuel — who he shares with ex-wife Jen Garner — along to help him shop for the diamond.
Despite wearing a mask and sunglasses, Affleck couldn't hide from photographers, who stayed to get the perfect shot.
While it appears he didn't walk out with a ring, J Lo was spotted rocking an attention-grabbing sparkler later that day.
This wouldn't be the first engagement ring that Affleck bought for her. The duo got engaged in 2002 but called off their 2003 wedding just days before the ceremony.
While ring shopping seems like a step in the right direction, RadarOnline.com is told J Lo likes their relationship just the way it is. Especially when it comes to having separate houses.
Despite being spotted touring homes, RadarOnline.com can exclusively report that the Hustlers actress isn't prepared to pull the trigger until she's "financially free" from A-Rod.
"Jennifer is still untangling her financial assets from Alex Rodriguez. There is no way she is buying a home with Ben until she is financially free from Alex," sources told RadarOnline.com last month.
At the moment, J Lo and Affleck both own homes in L.A. She dropped a whopping $28 million on her Bel-Air estate while her Oscar-winning beau lives in a $20 million "dad pad" in the upscale neighborhood of Pacific Palisades.
