‘Fresh Prince’ Reboot Star Adrian Holmes Involved In Fatal L.A. Freeway Accident
Adrian Holmes, the actor set to play Uncle Phil in the upcoming The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air reboot, was reportedly involved in a fatal accident on the Los Angeles freeway.
According to TMZ, Holmes was driving on the L.A. freeway yesterday when he hit an unidentified man with his car. Authorities reportedly told the outlet that the actor was driving southbound on the 110 north of Sunset Boulevard around 7:35 pm when he hit the victim with his car. The unidentified man was allegedly just lying down in the lane of the freeway.
Sources also say that Holmes wasn’t able to avoid hitting the victim.
A second car driving behind Holmes also reportedly hit the man, causing the victim’s body to be pushed into the next lane. The victim’s body being pushed into the next lane then caused a third car on the freeway to strike the man.
The unidentified man succumbed to his injuries and died at the scene. Los Angeles police are still reportedly investigating the incident and working to figure out why the man was laying on the 110 freeway to begin with.

The authorities added they don’t believe drugs or alcohol were involved in Holmes or the other two drivers hitting the man. They did not say anything about if drugs or alcohol played a part in why the victim was where he was at the time of the accident.
Holmes is set to play Uncle Phil in the forthcoming reboot of The Fresh Prince that got picked up by Peacock for two seasons. Although no one from the original cast is set to return to their original roles, Will Smith has been confirmed to be an executive producer on the project.
As RadarOnline.com previously reported, this isn’t the first serious accident that Will Smith has somehow been connected to.
Just last month, a fire broke out in the basement of their $42 million Malibu mansion that led to a firefighter responding to the call needing medical treatment on the scene. Both Will Smith and his wife Jada Pinkett were not hurt.
