A Florida man has been arrested after investigators say he ran over his 86-year-old father multiple times with his truck while in the parking lot of a bar, RadarOnline.com has learned.
According to the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office, round 8:30 p.m. on Nov. 11, officers responded to R Bar in Treasure Island in regard to a fatal hit-and-run crash, as Front Page Detectives reported.
Investigators determined Thomas McKeown was walking towards a truck as it was backing into a parking spot in the bar parking lot.
McKeown allegedly fell to the ground in front of the truck. The driver of the truck reportedly ran over McKeown, dragging him in the parking lot, officials said.
According to authorities, “the truck then (reversed) and (moved) forward multiple times, running over him each time before leaving the scene.”
The victim was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead, police said.

Mark McKeown was taken into custody and charged with leaving the scene of a crash that involved a death, authorities said.
He was booked into the Pinellas County Jail and released on $50,000 bond on Nov. 12.
