Allegedly created in NYC, this decadent nightcap is the perfect way to treat yourself after a “hard day’s night.” Which reminds us, here’s a fun fact to impress your friends: the Brandy Alexander was John Lennon’s drink of choice!

Brandy Alexander Recipe
Although you shouldn’t have difficulty finding dark crème de cacao in a liquor store, some customers ask if they could substitute with the more readily-available Kahlúa. While you could use Kahlúa in a Brandy Alexander, it certainly isn’t authentic.
Remember, crème de cacao has strong chocolate flavors (hence the name!). Kahlúa, on the other hand, is a coffee liqueur. Traditional Brandy Alexanders aren’t supposed to have a coffee flavor—but that doesn’t mean it won’t be super tasty!
Ingredients
- 1 oz brandy
- 1 oz dark crème de cacao
- 1 oz heavy cream
- ½ dropperful Tribe CBD oil (natural flavor)
- Ground nutmeg or cocoa powder
- Cinnamon stick (optional)
Directions
- Pour ice into a cocktail shaker
- Add brandy, crème de cacao, heavy cream, and Tribe CBD oil
- Shake for a few seconds
- Strain into a pre-chilled martini glass or an ice-filled rocks glass
- Sprinkle ground nutmeg or cocoa powder
- Garnish with cinnamon stick (optional)
