Royal Wedding Watch! Princess Beatrice & Shamed Beau Edoardo Engagement Expected
July 22 2019, Updated 12:52 p.m. ET
Princess Beatrice will soon wed boyfriend Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, sources predict to the Daily Mail and The Sun.
Prince Andrew's daughter, 30, has been going out with Italian tycoon Edoardo since they met at her sister Princess Eugenie’s nuptials last October and now an engagement announcement looks imminent.
An insider told royal journalist Richard Eden, "People are saying that it won’t be long before Bea does the same" as Eugenie.
Another source told The Sun that after less than a year together, “Things are moving very quickly and it wouldn’t surprise anyone if they got engaged within a short period of time….it’s already been discussed by her friends.
“Everyone is thrilled that Bea is so happy and in such a good place right now.”
If she ties the knot with Edoardo, however, it will be controversial for Beatrice.
Her man has been accused of abandoning his previous galpal to be with the princess, as RadarOnline.com has reported.
Edoardo allegedly dumped Dara Huang, his fiancée and the mother of his son, 2, to be with Bea.
Huang's father Po Tien recently ripped the royals and shared exclusive photos of Huang with Edoardo and their little boy "Wolfie."
While Mozzi hasn't abandoned his son, he did leave Huang for a luxe new life with the royal.
Eduardo and Beatrice attended their first wedding as a couple together last weekend when they witnessed art consultant Ed Tang and auctioneer John Auerbach tie the knot in Tuscany.
The Princess recently switched to a plant-based diet, which could be a sign she's wants to look slim and healthy for her wedding.
Bookies have also suspended betting on Beatrice announcing her engagement to boyfriend Edoardo this year, The Sun has reported.
Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said, “Altar-bound Beatrice looks set to be the next Royal to tie the knot and we’re now so confident of an announcement this year that we’ve suspended betting as a result.”
