Dorit Kemsley has denied mistreating the dog involved in her feud with The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills co-star Lisa Vanderpump.
On social media, the reality TV star showed off photos and video of herself and family members in loving moments with Lucy Lucy Apple Juice, the dog involved in the "Puppy Gate" scandal on the show.
As RadarOnline.com previously reported, the battle began after Vanderpump's once close pal, Kemsley, adopted a pup named Lucy from Vanderpump Dog Rescue, the rehabilitation of dogs charity that Lisa runs.
Sources said Kemsley, 42, "abandoned" the dog to a shelter in a move that left Vanderpump, 58, feeling "stabbed in the back."
Kemsley said she was forced to give Lucy away after the puppy bit both her daughter and husband.
The star claimed she thought the dog would be given to another home, but Lucy somehow wound up in a shelter.
The epic "dog fight" has been a major plotline on RHOBH's 9th season, with Kemsley also being accused of locking the pooch in her basement.
On Friday, March 22, 2019, however, Kemsley struck back by releasing various pictures and videos that to prove that she treated little Lucy well.
One clip showed Kemsley's son Jagger petting Lucy while seated in the backseat of a car.
Kemsley asked him, "Do you love her Jaggy? She's our baby isn't she?"
Jagger replies, "Yes."
"Locked in a cage? Unloved? Mistreated?" Kemsley wrote over the video with tears of joy emojis.
Another video showed Kemsley's daughter Phoenix and Jagger dancing with Lucy playfully running around them.
"Lucy didn't partake in any family fun. She was locked away in a cage, in our 'basement' which we don't have!" Kemsley sarcastically wrote over the post.
Kemsley's husband Paul was also seen kissing the dog in a clip she shared.
Also, Lucy accompanied Kemsley to a photoshoot, she shared on social media.
Will Vanderpump and fans accept her ex-pal's new defense?
