Chris Watts is currently serving three consecutive life sentences without the possibility of parole for the murders of his wife Shan’ann and their two young daughters. On Tuesday, March 5’s episode of Dr. Phil, their daughter Bella’s final words are exposed.

“She said something to the affect of, ‘Well you’re not going to see the kids again,’" he explained. "As a consequence of that conversation, he strangled her to death.”

Lambert continued, “From our understanding, Bella did not witness the actual killing of her mother, Shan’ann. It was not until Chris was in the process of trying to dispose of Shan’ann’s body, essentially wrapping her up in this sheet. While he was doing that, Bella walked in and asked, ‘What are you doing with mommy?’”

Chris reportedly responded, “Mommy is sick, and we need to take her to the hospital to make her better.”

At the location the bodies were found, he threw his wife’s body, which was still in the sheet, in a dirt pile next to the truck.

“He walks over and takes CC’s favorite blanket,” the representative said of 3-year-old Celeste. “He smothers her to death. He takes her body, takes it out of the vehicle.”

Lambert then said of Bella, 4, “At this point, Bella had unbuckled herself from the vehicle. He went back to the vehicle. At that point Bella said, 'Please daddy, don't do to me what you just did to CC.' He killed Bella.”

The representative continued that there “was a struggle from Bella.

“There were signs she fought for her life,” he said. “What happened to Bella in those last moments have been the hardest.”
