‘Sister Wives’ Betrayal: Meri Invites Janelle’s Ex-Husband To B&B Closing Over Her!

Meri Brown snubbed her family for the closing of her Utah bed and breakfast on the most recent episode of Sister Wives. On the show, she explained it was because they weren’t interested in the project, but RadarOnline.com can reveal the real reason Kody, Robyn, Christine and Janelle weren’t included.

On the episode, Meri went to Utah to close on the beloved home. Her mother Bonnie, brother Adam and cousin were there when she signed the papers.

Adam was listed as Meri’s “brother” on the episode. But TLC forgot to mention that he’s also Janelle’s ex-husband!

Back in 2015, RadarOnline.com obtained Janelle and Adam’s divorce documents. The couple finalized their divorce on June 8, 1990 after nearly two years of marriage.

Janelle, who was Meri’s sister-in-law at the time, revealed she fell in love with Kody while married to Adam.

“I met Kody in the fall of 1989, even though he may not remember it,” her bio on the show’s website read. “When he walked into the room I looked at him and had that feeling of remembering something I had forgotten. It was a singular experience. I had known Meri’s family for several years before the night I met Kody.”

On the episode, Janelle and the other wives were upset they weren’t involved in the closing. Meri claimed she snubbed them because they didn’t seem interested in the business.

“I invite people to do things with me and it doesn’t happen,” Meri explained. “Not one of you guys have come to me and talked to me about it unless I instigate the conversation. I don’t want you to feel like I’m pushing you.”

But Janelle argued, “We were invested. We helped with the business plan… we were excited about this.”
