According to the documents obtained by, Josephs’ New Jersey mansion that was featured prominently on RHONJ might be in jeopardy.

“Pursuant to the Promissory Note, the Loan is a 'mortgage loan' and is secured by collateral consisting of real property,” the lawsuit noted.

The Sigleys asked for a judge to impose “an equitable lien in Plaintiffs’ favor on, and granting the Plaintiffs a security interest in, the real property,” for Josephs’ house.

But the lawsuit isn’t Joseph’s only financial problem. As reported, Josephs owed the IRS $200,000 in back taxes.

According to the clerk of court for Bergen County, she still owes the federal taxes.
