Vicki Gunvalson has pumped up her drama on the The Real Housewives of Orange County set to avoid getting demoted, RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned.
As the reality star, 56, fights to save her full-time cast member status, a source has told RadarOnline.com that she's now a "complete nightmare" on set!
Vicki was rumored to be facing demotion to "friend" status on RHOC during her recent contract negotiations.
As RadarOnline.com readers know, the original housewife then returned to the show but another RadarOnline.com insider said she took a "big time pay cut."
Gunvalson's status is still up in the air and will not be determined until RHOC's new season is further along in filming, RadarOnline.com can reveal.
Now, "Vicki has been a total pain in the a** during the first few filming sessions that she has been back on set," a source close to the production said.
"She is throwing temper tantrums and starting fights because she is terrified of getting booted from the show. She knows that she has to bring the drama and she's been doing just that."
The source noted, "They are all non-organic fights and she is taking each one to a whole new level. It is so obvious to everyone what she is trying to do."
In early February, Vicki missed the first two weeks of filming amid her contract negotiations.

Vicki's co-star Kelly Dodd gloated about her rival's possible demotion.
However, upon returning from a Bahamas getaway with boyfriend Steve Lodge, Vicki shared a social media video to let fans know that she will appear on the upcoming season of RHOC.
As RadarOnline.com reported, Vicki is planning an elaborate on-camera engagement to Lodge and then a wedding on the new season to secure her position.
"She plans to whoop it up like never before," the source previously said.
