Desperate Date Night! Meri Brown Cozies Up To Husband Kody Amid Marital Issues

Meri Brown’s marital issues with her husband, Kody, continue to unfold on the upcoming season of Sister Wives. But Meri is trying to portray a picture-perfect image on social media despite the show’s trailer!
Meri posted a photo with her husband while on a date for her birthday.
“So Kody and I went out for my birthday the other night and found this hidden gem in Flagstaff,” she captioned the Instagram photo. “I mean, maybe it was hidden, maybe we're just new to town lol! #BlackBartsSteakhouse and Musical Revue was so fun, and we got to experience the musical talents of students from #NAU Definitely a win!!”
She added the hashtags, “#LivingMyWhy #BecauseICan #LoveWhatIDo and #LifeFulfilled.”
The snap comes after a trailer for the upcoming season revealed her tension with Kody and wife Christine.
Meri fought with Kody because he refused to give her a down payment for her bed and breakfast.
“Part of me wants to just stand up and say, okay fine, I don’t need you guys,” she fired.
She then confronted Christine about their broken relationship.
“You don’t feel comfortable around me,” she said, as Christine responded in her confessional, “The sister wives relationship is super tricky, because you’re trying to be best friends with the woman who has a relationship with your husband."
As readers know, Kody divorced Meri, who is his first wife, to legally marry younger spouse Robyn in 2014.
Meri later fell victim to a catfish scam. She fell in love with someone on the Internet who she believed was a man. But the person she had a six-month relationship with ended up being a woman named Jackie Overton.
“I didn’t know how to get out of the situation without putting myself, family, and friends at greater risk,” Meri said of the scandal. “It was a very difficult time. I had a lot of anxiety. My family was very concerned for our safety and angry that we had been targeted.”
In October 2018, she stopped following the wives on Instagram. She still doesn’t follow them today.
The favoritism among the wives is also apparent in their living situation. As readers know, the family moved from Las Vegas, Nevada to Flagstaff, Arizona.
Robyn is renting out a $1,225,859 home in Arizona, while Janelle’s home is only $374,000.
Kody and Christine bought a home together for $520,000.
It is unknown where Meri is currently living.
As RadarOnline.com broke, Kody purchased a plot of vacant land in Flagstaff, which was split into four parcels on June 1, 2018.
The new season of Sister Wives premieres Sunday, January 20 at 8pm.
