12 Dead After Masked Gunman Opens Fire During Student Night At Country Bar
Twelve people have been pronounced dead after a crazed gunman opened fire inside a Southern California country bar this Wednesday night.
As RadarOnline.com has learned from reports, the shooter entered the Borderline Bar and Grill in Thousand Oaks with a bandana-like mask over his face at around 11:20p.m. during “student night.”
Holding a black semi-automatic pistol, he began shooting, all the while throwing smoke grenades to confuse the crowd of youngsters.
Police quickly responded to the incident and arrived at the scene. Sheriff sergeant Ron Helus even confronted the gunman, but was killed. Soon after, the shooter took his own life.
Terrifying photos and videos show SWAT teams scouting the scene, and emergency crews carrying 10-15 injured party-goers into ambulances.
Eyewitnesses told reporters that the now-deceased murderer looked like he had extensive shooting experience and knew exactly what he was doing. There were about 100 people at the Southern California bar when he opened fire. Among the 12 people killed were the country bar’s bouncer and a female receptionist.
