RadarOnline.com can exclusively reveal NBC head honchos are scrambling to improve morale on the Today set now that Megyn Kelly is no longer around.

“The three bosses at Today are throwing a joint drink party for all the staff,” a set source revealed. “Everyone has been told they are expected to attend — it’s mandatory fun!”

“Morale is so low they couldn’t wait for the holiday party,” said the source, noting the show’s three executive producers “decided to get together right now and try and cheer up the beaten-down staff.”

As RadarOnline.com reported, staffers are stunned that 47-year-old Kelly has abandoned them after getting fired from NBC for making offensive on-camera comments defending blackface.

“It’s a very dark mood at the show,” said the source. “No one knows what’s happening, who is going to be fired or what changes are going to be made.”
