Surprise Photo! Collin Gosselin Visits Dad Jon And Sister Hannah At Home

Jon Gosselin has proudly shared a photo of himself and daughter Hannah with his reportedly troubled, MIA son Collin.

The former reality TV dad posted an Instagram photo on Sunday, November 4, in which he, Hannah, and Collin pose smiling outside Jon's house.

Jon, 41, captioned the shot, "Had a good weekend visit with Collin at home!"

Collin looked happy and healthy and wore a cute red message tee shirt which read, "Just a kid from Reading," referring to his Reading, Pennsylvania hometown.

Earlier this year, Jon had posted a rare picture of Collin, the son his ex-wife Kate, 43, put in a behavioral health facility for "special needs."

In that Instagram photo, Collin stood with his father and sister Hannah to mark their 14th birthday in May.

As RadarOnline.com reported in August, Jon had claimed that Hannah now lives with him “permanently” following a bitter custody battle with his former wife, Kate.

But fans have wondered what had happened to Collin, one of the eight Gosselin kids who starred on Jon & Kate Plus 8 and then Kate Plus 8 after the couple's messy split. Collin was born as a sextuplet with his siblings Hannah, Aaden, Alexis, Leah and Joel.

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Kate revealed in summer 2016 that Collin had been sent away from home to cope with “special needs.”

Sources told RadarOnline.com that he was living in a “preadolescent unit” at a facility about two hours from the Gosselin family home in Pennsylvania.

“Collin has special needs,” Kate has told PEOPLE. “There’s a fairly fluid diagnosis of what those needs are, but he needs to learn certain strategies to help him deal with things. This has been a struggle we’ve had for a very long time, and it’s one I’ve dealt with on my own.

“I am confident he is in the best hands and receiving the best of what’s being offered for his situation,” Kate has said.

But his father Jon was furious and in late 2016, charged Kate with locking away their son and refusing to let his dad see him or even know where he was.

Jon slammed Kate’s claims about their son.

Collin is “really smart” and “incredibly intuitive,” Jon added in the interview.

But now, it appears Jon spent a happy day with his boy Collin and wanted fans to see that the teen is doing well!
