Lady Gaga Considering Wicked Show Business Role — For The Right Price

Lady Gaga has become a monster movie star since her film A Star Is Born has broken the box office and received plenty of Oscar buzz.

Now, RadarOnline.com can reveal she's been offered a plum role in the big-screen adaptation of Wicked, playing witch Glinda — the role originated by Kristin Chenoweth on Broadway!

"She's the number one choice for producers," noted an industry insider.

Not that the singer is rushing into anything!

"She's the kind of person who needs to feel out and bond with the people she's going to work with," said the insider, explaining Gaga, 32, has another good reason to stall.

"She's never been hotter — or pickier — than she is now, but she knows that if she waits to sign until after she wins an Oscar, they'll have to give her even more money!" said the source.
