Jen Aniston To Spend Holiday In Mexico With BFF Jason Bateman After Split From Justin
Jennifer Aniston is pulling herself together and rebuilding her life after her nasty split from husband Justin Theroux. According to U.K.'s Heat, the Friends star will be spending her holiday vacation with friends Jason Bateman and wife Amanda Bateman in sunny Mexico!
"Jen has really relied on Jason and Amanda over the last year," a source close to the actress told the publication. "Jason, in particular, will bend over backwards for her. They've done quite a few movies together, and they've know each other for over 20y ears — they're like brother and sister."
The insider added that Aniston, 49, is quite "fed up" with her usual Mexico A-lister crew, as some of her longtime pals are still close to ex Theroux — and that just makes things awkward. Talk show hosts Jimmy Kimmel and Howard Stern are two of the people who are still friendly with the hunk, but the Batemans are "fiercely loyal" only to her.
"She has a lot of new projects planned for 2O19 and she wants to see it in with people she trusts," said the source.
RadarOnline.com readers know Aniston and Theroux, 47, dated for seven years and were married for just two before calling it quits this February. While the two insisted their breakup was amicable, it seems their close friends have had to choose sides, and it's gotten quite ugly.
"The Batemans are considered the leaders of what Jen's friends call 'TeamAniston'," said the insider. 'They're by far the most trusted people Jen has in LA, or anywhere. Everyone knows that if someone or something has upset Jen, the first people she'll call to help calm her down and figure out a solution is Jason and Amanda."
Though last time Aniston was in Mexico things went South for her and Theroux, she hopes this tropical getaway with friends will be very different.
"It's going to be a nice, chilled affair in LA. then at one of their favorite resorts in Mexico the main focus is to keep Jen smiling over what's going to be a tough period," said the source. "They'll team up with Courteney Cox, actress Laura Dern and other loyal members of Team Aniston to really pamper Jen and make her feel loved. As far as she's concerned, they're her soulmates — nobody else comes even close."
