Gerard Butler To Hold Fundraiser After Fire Burns House Down: 'He Has A Huge Heart'

Gerard Butler is taking action, hosting a fundraiser to benefit the Malibu Fire Relief after his own home was burned to the ground in the devastating California fires, RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned.

The 300 star has invited his A-list friends to his West Hollywood home tomorrow night for the cause, hoping to raise at least $1million for fire relief.

Gerard was lucky that just his house burned, and he wants to make sure to help everyone that is doing so much for the community,” an insider told RadarOnline.com.

"Returned to my house in Malibu after evacuating. Heartbreaking time across California," Butler said after the flames of the Woolsey fire ravaged his Point Dume home.

Multiple celebrities lost their homes in the fire, including Miley Cyrus, who has vowed to rebuild on the same property, Nick Notle, Camille Grammer, Robin Thicke and April Love Geary, Neil Young and soap star Tracey Bregman.

“Gerard has reached out to all of his celeb friends to give what they can, he has a huge heart,” the source told RadarOnline.com.
