Camille Grammer's Wedding Dress Saved After Her House Burns Down
Camille Grammer's wedding dress has reportedly been discovered in the embers after her house tragically burned down in the California wildfires. The Daily Mail has reported that firefighters battling the Woolsey Canyon wildfire in Malibu saved The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star's lavish gown from her wedding to attorney David C. Meyer, just seconds before her home was lost. Grammer wore the precious designer floral dress at her October 20 wedding in Hawaii.
The reality star had tied the knot with Meyer at a private beach club in Hawaii with many of her RHOBH co-stars looking on, including Kyle Richards, who was a bridesmaid. Lisa Vanderpump, however, had snubbed the ceremony due to a bitter housewives feud. But it was a joyous occasion anyway as Grammer's daughter Mason, 16, was a bridesmaid and son Jude, 14, walked his mom down the aisle in style.
However, last Sunday, November 11, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star and actor Kelsey Grammer's ex-wife, 50, posted a photo of her burning mansion on social media and told fans in a shocking caption, "Sadly my house couldn’t be saved. The courageous firefighters were able to save my cars and personal items recovered from my home. I thanked the fire captain and his team of firemen for all of their hard work. He took the time to explain what happened and I’m grateful for all of their hard work trying to save my home. Sad we lost our home but grateful that my family is safe. Luckily we quickly evacuated our house yesterday after a patrol car drove up the street announcing mandatory evacuations. I’m grateful for my lovely neighbors and friends who kept me informed and for their help this evening. ? Thank you all for caring ? #woolseyfire #malibu."
Now, Daily Mail is revealing that Grammer's wedding gown was one of her items saved, along with the star's two luxury cars.
Photos showed her wedding gown in a garment bag sitting next to a number of paintings and vases on a neighbor's driveway.
Grammer's longtime friend and fashion designer Malan Breton designed the floor-length sheer dress with floral decoration and train.
Also, Grammer's silver Ferrari 458 Italia and a white Mercedes sports car reportedly survived the fire.
Photographer Patrick Fallon, who took the pictures outside Grammer's home, said, "It was a crazy scene, the firefighters did their best but just couldn't control the fire. "They really seemed defeated that they couldn't save the house - they almost had it saved - but there was a lack of water pressure in the hydrants. "Once the fire got in the attic of the home they just couldn't put enough water on it before running out," Fallon said.

"Engines and tankers had to shuttle more water up the hill. "But while they couldn't save the house they did their best to save some of its contents. "They saved Camille Grammer's cars and they retrieved a number of personal items which they took over to a neighbor's house. "It was mainly paintings but I also saw them pull out what appeared to be a wedding dress kept in a garment bag and place it on the neighbor's driveway," the photographer said.
As RadarOnline.com reported, sources said Grammer fled her house with some jewelry and other precious personal items in a few suitcases after being 100 percent sure her family members were safe.
She later noted on social media, "We can replace/rebuild our home but we can’t replace people we have lost," adding that she had to endure a double heartbreak this month, as she lost her personal assistant two days before the flames took over California.
